Tirik na ang araw ng makarating ang barkong sinakyan ko papuntang Maynila. Agad na nagsibabaan ang mga pasahero upang salubungin ang mga susundo sa kanila. Nakisabay na din ako sa kanila. Ayokong mapag-iwanan eh.

Nang makababa ako ng barko ay tumabi muna ako sa gilid. Itinabi ko din ang maletang dala ko upang hindi makaistorbo sa ibang pasaherong bumababa. At dahil nakakangawit tumayo eh ginawa kong upuan yung maleta ko habang hinihintay kung sino ang susundo sakin.

“Hay!!! Ito pala ang Maynila. Nasa ovary palang siguro ako ni Inay pangarap ko ng makarating dito” sabi ko at pasimpleng luminga-linga sa paligid upang hanapin ang posibleng susundo sakin.
